As of today, April 15th, the debut single “Hope is a Drug” has been released on Bandcamp. Reception thus far has been positive and overwhelming (in a good way).
Each of the tracks on this first EP are very special to me but I will spare everyone the flowery exposition. I think this blurb (snipped from the band’s FB page) sums up the track rather well:
“This track is quite the darkwave snack.* It’s brisk, synthy, and tells a story about human ambition, nostalgia, and reflection. Verses progress from youth, to mid-life, to elder, then questions what we have built, why, and at what cost. This track sets the stage for the next story… the machines. More on that soon.”
